Welcome to the Oxford Branch of the Honda Owners Club.
The Honda Owners Club (GB) is open to any person who owns, or has owned, a Honda powered motorcycle. The Club welcomes any person who rides a Honda motorcycle regardless of the capacity or age of the machine (or rider!). It is for motorcyclists – like YOU.
Established in 1961, the Honda Owners Club (GB) is the oldest one make Japanese motorcycle club in the country with over 2,500 single and joint members.The Honda Owners Club (GB) is not run by Honda UK, it is owned and run voluntarily by the membership.
Why should you join?
The Club offers the opportunity to meet people just like you, who have a love of biking and the get up and go to make the most of their machines.
Primarily the Club is a social organisation, offering events such as camping/b&b weekends, day rides, UK & European holidays, rallies, charity events and parties. The club is for you and run by you.
The Club is a great way to meet Honda owners and other motorcycle club members, who are only too willing to share their experiences and knowledge.
It’s a good laugh and you make some great friends all over the country.
What do you get?
Golden Wing, the Club’s magazine, is sent to you free of charge, four times a year and keeps you informed of all that is going on in the Club.
Over 150 dealers, companies and organisations offer Club members a discount on their products and services. The Member Discounts page is published in each issue of Golden Wing
The Club is affiliated to the British Motorcyclist Federation. You can also become an individual member of the BMF at a reduced rate by joining the HOC.
Like any club, you get out of it exactly what you want. Come along to your local Branch, take part in as much as you can and it’s money well spent, but if you’re happy to just read the magazine and sit at home then so be it, but you’ll be missing out on many fun-filled activities and great days out.
Where can you go?
The Diary Dates are published in Golden Wing which gives you a list of what’s going on and where. Our own events page is kept up-to-date with events locally.
The club is divided into local branches. Each Branch is run by the members themselves, holds regular meetings and organises its own social calendar.There are lots of national events, all over the UK, which bring together members for a day or weekend.
Branches keep in touch with each other and often organise joint events. Members who do not attend a branch can still take part in all club events.
