New Years Day Ride Out 2015

Fourteen valient Oxford HOCers met at J&S Eynsham and followed Clive and Anne via some ‘twistie’ roads to the Oxford 2015 rally venue, The Gate Hangs High at Hook Norton where they met ten more of the HOC Oxford gang to enjoy a warm welcome and yummy meal – delicious fish and chips, the largest burgers, steaks and many other choices from the menu. Some of the group arrived a bit late –  two as the SAT Nav didn’t find quite the correct post code and two as their bikes had perhaps objected to coming out in the damp and wind and had decided not to play! Everyone gathered around the tree for a group piccie before braving the damp and wind to get home and the assembled bikes all left in orderly fashion, apart from one who demonstrated how versatile Transalps are by mounting the kerb and parking behind the camera person!
